On the Localization Process of Chinese Basketball—and the Development of Contemporary Chinese basketball and Reflections

从文化学视角,探讨了中国篮球本土化的历程,并对中国篮球本土化主要影响因素进行了剖析。同时对当代中国篮球本土化进程中存在的问题进行反思。认为引进篮球文化不要只重移植而忽视了重实际和效应,建设篮球中国特色化是篮球可持续发展的关键。

This article explores the localization process of Chinese basketball from the perspective of cultural studies and analyzes the major factors that have influenced the localization of Chinese basketball. At the same time the problems existing in the localization process of contemporary Chinese basketball are reviewed. It is believed that introducing into the basketball culture should not focus on transplanting solely, but neglect the practical effects, and that the key to sustainable development of basketball is to construct the basketball with Chinese characteristics.
