After introduction to the VP101 family of voiceband of application specific standard products （ASSPs）, we analyze the hardware structure and software on chip. We finish the design of connecting analog interface circuitry of VPIOI to the analog telephone via corresponding subscriber line interface circuitry. This article introduced the design of a VoIP module based on VP101 and completed its function in laboratory.
