The semi-portable crushing station of Qidashan Iron Ore Mine of Anshan Iron ＆ Steel Group Co. uses heavy plate feeder with receiving trough. In near 8 years of operation, there are always troubles caused by the plate feeder of which the running cost is also high. To achieve better economic benefit, the engineers of the mine have tried to remove the plate feeder and to feed directly the crusher. The result of test is satisfactory.
