针对互联网已成为人类社会信息及知识的最重要载体和传播媒介,保存互联网信息对于记录与保护这些数字遗产具有相当的重要性这一事实,简述互联网档案将成为人类社会的一项重要信息资源,开展互联网档案学研究将对互联网的发展和知识管理发挥重要作用;指出互联网档案学将成为信息资源管理框架体系中的一个重要组成部分,是融合图书馆学、情报学和档案学并与现代信息技术空前结合的交叉学科。

Internet has become the most important carrier and transmission media of social information and knowledge. It is extremely important to preserve the information on Internet for recording and protecting these digital heritages. Internet archive will be a significant information resource and the research on it will be helpful for the development of Internet and knowledge management. The author points out that the Internet archive science will become one part of information resource management system, which is a cross-discipline integrated library science, intelligence science and archive science into modern information technique.
