哈代小说里的女性多姿多彩,大致可归为三大类:脆弱的传统女性,是男性眼中的“天使”;判逆的新女性,是哈代钟情的女性;“灵”与“肉”分离的女性,是哈代排斥的女性。

The females in the novel of Hardy are very charming and colorful and can be classified into three major types：Weak tradition female, is an ＂angel＂ in the male＇s eye; Modern rebellion woman who Hardy is in deep love with and the third one whom Hardy is exclusive from because the female with the ＂soul＂ and ＂muscle＂ separately.
