英国高等教育职能演进之探讨

Development of the Functions of Higher Education in U.K.

通过对英国大学与工业关系发展进程的历史分析,阐述高等教育职能在某种程度上具有自我协调与自我演变的特征。大学与工业合作关系的发展离不开社会的需求、经济的推动、政府的干预甚至高等教育自身规律的转变与影响。同时,高等教育职能也随着大学与工业关系的进一步加强而逐步得以完善,使之成为推动高等教育发展与社会进步的重要力量。

This article illustrates the characteristics of self-adjustment and self-development of higher education functions by giving a historic analysis to the development of the relations between British universities and industries, which largely depends on social needs, economic push, government＇s interference and even the transform or even influence of the function of the higher education. This, in return, will push forward the development of higher education and society, together with the improvement of the cooperation between university and industry.
