海南黎族有悠久的历史、自己的语言和独特的文化特征。中原汉族自秦代踏足海南岛之后,历两汉至明清,徙琼者日众。汉族的迁入和汉文化向黎区的播散,对黎族产生深刻的影响。它加速了黎族社会前进的步伐,促进黎族文化的变迁,以及黎族与汉族的融合。黎族的文化面貌及其分布格局因此发生深刻的变化。

The Li ethnic group surviving in hainan Province has a long history with their own language and culture.Since the Han Chinese came to the island in the Qin Dynasty on large scale, they spreas Han Chinese all over the island, pushing forward the local Li culture and the intermingling between the Han and the Li. So the distribution and cultural tradition of the Li group have changes greatly.
