The preparations of palm oil alkyd resin and its paint with melamine were related. The haze defect of the film was eliminated by careful selection of raw materials and reaction temperature control. The technical specification of the paint was listed. And it has been shown with its corrosion resistance, UV light resistance and field exposure results that it is superior to the conventional alkyd/melamine paint, and can be used for clear finishing, anddecoration of light industry and electric appliance products.
