摘要 College English writing has long been the weakest aspect of English programs for English majors in China. This situation is especially true at North University of China. This study explores the use of collaborative teaching between native and non-native English writing instructors. It seeks to identify ways to make full use of native teachers' and Chinese teachers' strengths in teaching English writing, to implement team- teaching to benefit both teachers and students, and to help Chinese teachers to improve their English proficiency and enable native English soeakin~ teachers to better understand Chinese students' specific difficulties in English writing.
