摘要
Vocabulary teaching is one of the key links in the teaching of college English. A good mastery of English vocabulary has a world of differences in learning the five fundamental skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating required in the college curriculum. This paper expounds thoroughly how an overall English vocabulary teaching is achieved systematically by means of phonetics, morphology, semantics and psychology, which provides the students with an easy and scientific way to the vocabulary learning, thus offering them a solid language foundation for their mastery of the five skills.
