Signaling protocol is usually one of the most complex function models in networks. This paper firstly describes backgrounds and related works of applying QoS signaling schemes in MANET. Then INSIGNIA signaling scheme and its extensions are analyzed in detail. Next, the management model of wireless flows based on insignia is explained. Finally, a summarization of the paper is given.
