摘要 XUL是基于XML的用户标记语言,用于描述应用程序的主要框架结构。由于具有跨平台运行、轻量级、扩展灵活等特点,它展示了全新的应用程序组织方式,在图书馆的信息查询、网络服务、与OPAC的结合等方面越来越凸现其优势。 The XUL is a notational language of users based on the XML, which is used to describe the layout of applications. Because of its characteristics, such as crossing-platform, simplicity and easy extension, it shows a new way of applications＇ organization and will be more and more ascendent in information searching, web service, combination of OPAC and so on in the libraries.
