The Philosophical Implications of the Concept of Software

认为软件是认识的中介,是对人的部分意识程式、动态和复现式的数字化外化,软件的意识外化具有客观性、符号承载性、数字化、可计算性、动态复现性和类主体性等特征。软件具有一般物质的客观实在性。软件不能独立存在,需要载体承载。软件的载体有大脑意识载体、语言符号载体和电磁物理载体三种形式,软件在其电磁物理载体上表现为驻存型、执行型和传输型三种存在形态。软件只有经数字化才取得自己的存在地位,软件的本质是数字存在。

The paper makes a discussion on the concept of software,and considers software as an intermediate of cognition,as a modal,dynamic and reoccurred externalization to a part of human consciousness in digital form.The consciousness externalization of software has such characteristics as objectivity,symbolization,digitalization,computability,dynamic reoccurrence,quasi-subjectivity.It deems that software has the objective substantiality like general matters.Software cannot exist independently,and it needs a carrier to represent itself.The carrier of software has three types,i.e.human brain consciousness carrier,symbolized language carrier and physical electromagnetic carrier.
