摘要
《论语》“色斯举矣”之“色”历来释为“颜色”。考之古籍异文、字书引用以及《论语》语境,“色”当为“(?)”之假借,“惊骇”之义。
The Chhaese character Se（ 色） in the sentence Se Si Ju Yi（色斯举矣） in the Annals of the Confucius（论语） has been interpreted as color for a long time. After having examined the classic documents, quotations and the context of the Annals of the Confucius（论语）, the Chinese character Se （色） can be a word borrowed from Se[嗇欠], having the meaning of frightening.
