Examination on Liye(里耶)Strips of Qin(秦)

公开发表的里耶泰简,文字释读尚存疑义者颇多。兹略陈四事。其一,“环”通“爰”,“环书”当即“爰书”。其二,“却之”为秦代公文习语,却训退,非人名。其三,“衿”、“荆”楚方音通转。其四,“快行”与“发送紧急文书”无关。

It also has some puzzle to interpret the characters in Liye（里耶） strips of Qin（秦） which have publiced. This paper discuss four issues： First, Huan（环） interchange Yuan（爰）, Huanshu（环书）is Yuanshu（爰书）. Second, Quezhi（却之）is a official idiom of the Qin（秦） dynasty. Que（却） means return. It is not a name. Third, in Chu（楚） dialect, Jin（衿） interchange Jing（荆）. Fourth, Kuaixing（快行） have nothing to do with the sending emergency instruments.
