Analyses & Countermeasures on the Situation of Reading English Aloud of the Freshmen in Higher Vocational Colleges

从近几年的情况来看,高职新生的外语基础普遍较差,这与我国中小学英语教学忽视朗读教学,违背语言教学规律有关。我们必须充分认识英语朗读的重要性,培养高职学生良好的朗读习惯。

This paper focuses on English study of higher vocational freshmen and points out that reading English aloud should be one of the keys in English study and teaching so that the freshmen can improve their ability to use the language of English.
