随着信息网络的迅猛发展,高校图书馆逐步实现了馆藏资源的数字化及管理手段的自动化、网络化。图书馆设施自动化的同时,图书馆人员的素质成为能否真正实现高水平服务的重要因素。高校图书馆员必须进行继续教育,从思想水平、专业知识、现代化知识、外语水平和本校相关专业的知识等几个方面提高自己的素质,才能为读者提供真正优质的服务。本文阐述了高校图书馆员继续教育的必要性、高校图书馆员的现状及继续教育的主要内容和方式。

With the rapid development of information web, libraries of universities have gradually achieved digital collection as well as automatic management. In the mean time, quality of libraries become an important factor for librarians to relize the better service. The article describes necessity for librarians to have continuous education, their current situation and ways to have continuous education.
