摘要
合成孔径雷达SAR原始数据样点之间具有低的相关性,为进一步提高压缩比,需要做去相关处理。该文将提升小波变换应用于SAR原始数据压缩,针对SAR原始数据的特点,提出一种有效的小波系数量化比特分配方法,并采用对于高斯信号为最优的标量量化器对小波系数进行量化编码。实验结果表明,该算法与传统的原始数据压缩算法相比,在保持低复杂度的同时,其压缩信噪比与解压缩图像质量都取得了明显的改善。
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) raw data has low correlation between its' samples, in order to increase the compression ratio, a de-correlation stage is needed. A technique for compressing SAR raw data using lifting wavelet transform is considered. Due to the statistical properties of SAR signal, a proper sub-band coefficients quantization bit allocation algorithm is presented. The optimum scalar quantizer optimized for Gaussian statistics signal is used to encoding the wavelet coefficients. The performances achieved in terms of certain quality parameters have been evaluated. These show an increased performance in this method with respect to conventional methods.
