摘要
针对超宽带(ultra-wideband,UWB)信号的具体特征,利用巴克码的相关特性,设计了一种结构简单的训练序列,在此基础上建立了基于最大似然(ML)准则的UWB同步捕获算法。该算法大大降低了UWB信号时间捕获的复杂度,能够快速实现同步。仿真结果表明,只需要较短的训练序列,该算法就能获得优良的同步性能,当训练序列较长时可以很好地逼近理想捕获情况下的系统误码率。
A rapid timing acquisition algorithm, which is based on the maximum likelihood (ML) criterion, is developed for UWB (uhra-wideband) communications based on designed training symbols. By means of the judiciously designed preamble which is built on the Barker code, the algorithm can realize timing acquisition rapidly with low complexity. Analysis and simulations show that with a small number of training symbols, the scheme achieves a high synchronization performance. When there are more training symbols, the bit-error-rate (BER) is close to that of the ease with perfect timing.
