The body meehanieal orientation system is the kernel to guarantee the accuracy of body stereo precise radiotherapy. This paper presents the constitution and structure of a novel orientation couch used for body precise radiotherapy. It is characterized by light weight, high rigidity, and good penetrability of X-ray, and thus is worthy of application to radiotherapy.
