英语写作能力是高中学生应具备的听、说、读、写四种基本能力之一,也是高考重点考查的项目之一。听说属于口头交际,读写是书面交际;听读是获取信息、学习他人的语言输入过程,说和写是运用语言表达思想的手段、是语言输出。

English writing ability is one of the basic abilities that must be possessed by students in senior high school as well as one key item examined in College Entrance Exam. Listening and speaking belong to oral communication, reading and writing belong to written communication; listening and reading are to catch information, which belong to language input process from others; speaking and writing are the way to express thoughts in language, which belong to language output.
