This paper introctuces the determination of statistical values for the dead load of hihgway bridge in northwestern region, data callections and processings and the results for statistical analysis, and presents the reliable basis for the study of highway bridge reliability of dead load in northwestern region of China as well as the rehabilitation of bridge and the optimum design in northwestern region.
