One stage construction of supratarsal fold and Z-plasty correction of epicanthus

有内眦赘皮而单纯行重睑成形术，术后效果欠佳。在重睑成形术同时，通过改进以往Ｚ成形设计，增加Ｚ字两臂的长度来纠正内眦赘皮，并使重睑线与Ｚ纵轴自然连接，术后能有效地消除内眦赘皮，增长眼裂，具有内此瘢痕不明显，赘皮不易复发，重睑线自然完整等优点。作者具体介绍了Ｚ成形的设计和操作要点，并对手术适应证、特点和注意事项作了讨论。

The operation of construction of supratarsal fold with epicanthus is sometimes not effec-tive. Author modified the design of Z-plasty. The length of Z anns was increased and supratarsal foldwas joined with Z axis naturally. This operation may correct epicanthus reliably and increase wide ofeye fissure. After the operation, eyelid scar was not obvious and supratarsal fold looked natural. Themodified design and method of the operation are introduced and surgical indications and points of at-tention are discussed in this paper.
