摘要
塔尔寺位于青海省湟中县鲁沙尔镇,为我国著名藏传佛教—格鲁派(黄教)的六大寺院之一,始建于明代,之后在清代又大力发展,它的建筑历史悠久,是藏、汉、回等民族形式相结合的一组宏大的艺术建筑群。塔尔寺除了在宗教上的地位以外,其本身的建筑特色和特殊的宗教装饰艺术,对于建筑历史的研究,也有着重要的典型意义,是值得重视的。
Ta＇er Temple is located in Lushaer town of Huangzhong county, Qinghai Province. It is one of six big famous Tibetan Buddhism Gelug sect （yellow lamaism） temples in our country. It was first built in Ming Dynasty and had developed vigorously afterwards in its long history. And it has been a grand group of artistic architectural composition which combines Tibetan, Han, Hui and other ethnical architectural styles. Besides its religious status, Ta＇er Temple has its own architectural characteristics and special religious ornamental designing style which is of viral significance to the architectural research.
