Study of Integrated Network Management System for SDH Transmission Network by National Radio and TV Optical Trunk Cable

本文介绍国家广电光缆干线SDH传输网综合网管系统的研究概况,包括多厂商SDH传输网的网络管理结构,综合网管系统的管理目标,网络管理系统与网元管理系统之间Q3接口的管理信息模型,以及基于统一Q3接口的SDH综合网管原型系统的管理功能。

The SDH transmission network by national radio and TV optical trunk cable is mainly used for transmission of radio and TV programs among central, provincial, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government radio and TV stations. Because the transmission network is composed of multi-manufacturer's SDH equipment and their EMSs, it is necessary to establish on basis of these EMSs an integrated network management system for this transmission network to conduct centralized management of resources and centralized scheduling and monitoring of services of the whole network. It is an important and very difficult work. A general situation of the study of the integrated network management system is introduced with the emphasis put on the management information model for Q3 interface between the NMS and EMS and management functions of the unified Q3 interface-based prototype SDH integrated network management system.
