Many linguists put native language interference on the top when listing various reasons that cause errors in students＇ writing. The paper analyses some typical errors in students＇ English writing by comparing the words and syntax of English and Chinese. It also gives some advices to the students to improve their English writing. It aims to avoid making mistakes and to achieve good results in students＇ English writing.
