Development and Man in Modern Western Historical Vision

西方现代发展观既与人们对影响发展实践诸因素的认识有关,也与不同时期对人自身的理解密切相关。可以说,西方现代发展观的演变过程不但是从单一经济增长向综合社会发展的转变过程,而且还是发展价值维度从客观物到主体人的转变过程,也是对人之理解从经济人到社会人,再到群体人,最后到个体人的转变过程。所以,与相应人之理解相联系的现代发展观表现为：经济人与经济增长发展观、社会人与现代化发展观、群体人与可持续发展观、个体人与以人为本的发展观。

The modern western development outlook is not only relevant to human recognition of the factors influencing development practice, but also to human comprehension to their own in different stages. It can be said that the evolution process of the modern western development outlook is not only that from single economic increase to comprehensive social development but also that from the object to subject of value dimension; in addition, it is also the evolution process from economic man to social man, from group man to individual man. Thus, the presentation of the modern western development outlook are as follows： the economic man and eco- nomic increasing development outlook, social man and modern development, group man and the sustainable development and individual man and the development outlook based on man.
