摘要
采用XRD和SEM等测试手段对用铝厂废渣和高岭土合成的莫来石材料进行微观结构表征。探讨不同配方合成的莫来石的晶相组成、晶胞参数及带有结构缺陷的莫来石固溶体的形成机理。结果表明各试样最多形成三个晶相:莫来石固溶体Al4.54Si1.46O9.73、Al2O3和SiO2,其中Al4.54Si1.46O9.73为主晶相,其晶胞参数a,b,c随Al2O3含量的增加而增加,但仍保持Pbam空间群。当原料中W(Al2O3)/W(SiO2)=2.42时,试样中的莫来石含量达到最高,为94.2%。
XRD and SEM techniques were used to characterize the mullite solid solution synthesized from waste Muminum slag and kaolin. The influence of different ratio of raw materials on crystalline phases and unit cell parameters were studied and the formation mechanism of mullite solid solution was discussed. The results show that the synthesized mullite possesses the same space group as pure cordierite ( Pbam ) with only a slight increase of lattice parameters. The results also show that, besides target mullite, there are still Al2O3 and SiO2 co-existed in the resulted sample. The content of mullite was up to the highest (94.2%) when Al2O3/SiO2 = 2.42 and thus was considered as the best prescription.
