This paper simply reviews some recent works about microbial biodegradation of polyhydroxybutyrate （ PHB）, including the main microorganisms biodegrade PHB and their biodegradability ; the process of biodegradation and the mechanism in molecular level; as well as the biochemical and molecular biological research of PHB Biodegradation.
