Traditional theory considered the pathogenesis of diabetes was mainly fever and dryness due to yin deficiency, but it should not be ignored that yan deficiency leaded to the diabetes. The author explored the theory on insufficiency of yang leading to the diabetes from the historical origins, pathogenesis, major treating disease,differentiation and treatment and so on, and explained by attached Shenqi Wan.
