The origination and development of the Chinese national spirit are based upon a certain national politics, economy and culture and composed of various kinds of factors which have been accumulated and chosen from generations and show striking Chinese national characteristics. The historic characteristics of the Chinese national spirit with rich and profound contents are the soul of the Chinese nation. To inherit and develop the Chinese national spirit is to reserve the reasonable contents of the historic characteristics so that we Chinese nation can stand among the other nations of the world and create its new glory.
