《诗经》英译研究的历史、现状与反思

《诗经》英译已经有了一百多年历史,但《诗经》英译研究迄今仍比较薄弱。已有的研究虽有不少创获,但大多角度比较单一,且缺乏专门深入的考察和系统全面的研究。本文拟对《诗经》翻译研究的历史与现状作一定的探讨,并对今后的研究提出设想。

The English translation of Shijing has had a history of over 100 years, but the study of the classic has been rather weak. Though it has yielded some results, the extant study has been rather single-perspectived, and indulged more in value judgment than in academic research. The research has been neither special and penetrating nor systematic and comprehensive. This paper aims to investigate the history and status quo of the Shijing research and the author proposes his ideas for the future research.
