汉英语言中的性别歧视现象及其产生原因

The Analysis of Sexual Discrimination in Chinese and English Language

语言能够折射社会,语言中的性别差异反映出了社会的偏见。很多语言中都存在着对女性的性别歧视现象。本文仅从字词、称呼、颜语三方面阐述汉英两种语言中的性别歧视现象,并从历史文化,社会角色和地位,以及心理因素方面论证这一现象产生的原因。

Language mirrors society. Distinct difference in the use of language between male and female is caused by social and cultural prejudices. The discrimination against female is the general social phenomenon existing sirnalarly between the cultures of Chinese and English, which are reflected in many respects such as lexicon, addressing, proverbs. The cause of such phenomenon is also discussed in this article from the views of histroy and culture, social character and position, and some psychological factors.
