The content of vitamin B1 (VB1) was detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) at 270 nm, in which C18 Chromatography column was used. The mobile phase was a mixture containing acetonitrile and the solution of 100 mmol/L Na3PO4 (pH 2.1) and 0.8 mol/L octylsulfoacid, with the mix ratio of 1:9 (v/v). The content of VBI and the area of main peak presented good linear relationship (r=0.9997) when the content of VBI ranged between 0.005 μg and 2.5 μg. The minimum injection dose was 0.0050 μg, and the detection limit was 0.0002 μg.
