１９８９年浏阳市被定为妇幼卫生合作项目县。我们采取政府负责、部门协作、社会支 持、群众参与的方式，认真落实各项项目工作。通过５年多的艰苦努力，圆满实现了项目工作的各 项目标。到１９９４年，妇幼卫生项目的“三大”效果指标取得了“两下一上”的好成绩，全市孕产妇死 亡率由１９８９年的９０．２／１０万下降到５５．８／１０万，婴儿死亡率由５０．９８ｈｉ下降到２８．３１‰，育龄妇女． 节育率由８７．７４％上升到９４．３７％。其它各项指标均达到或超过项目标准。

After defined as MCH cooperation item county in 1989, Liuyang city carried out the item` s goal conscientiously by way of government responsibility and departments cooperation and society supporting and the masses taking part in. By making great efforts about 5 years, the aimes of item have been satisfactorily achieved in the city. The mortality of the pregnant and puerperal woman has been reduced from 0. 902‰, in 1989 to 0. 558‰ ;the infant mortality has been reduced from 50. 98‰ in 1989 to 28. 31%. The conraception rate of the women of child bearing age has raised form 87. 74% in 1989 to 94. 37%. Other indexes have been up or over the item standard.
