摘要
使用浓硫酸和浓硝酸的混合溶液将多壁碳纳米管(MWNTs)进行功能化处理后与PAN进行共混,采用湿法成型技术制备出了PAN/MWNT复合纤维。采用TEM、FTIR、SEM及DMA对酸化后NWNTs和PAN/NWNT复合纤维的结构进行了分析。结果表明:酸化后碳管表面产生羧基和羟基等官能团等基团,可以增加NWNTs与基体之间的相互作用;NWNTs在PAN基体种分散均匀,添加纳米碳管后PAN纤维的储存模量、玻璃化转变温度及强度提高。
High performance fiber is in great demand in industry for various applications because they possess high modulus, high strength, low density and other electrical or thermal properties. The extraordinary mechanical properties and high aspect ratio of muhiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) make them excellent candidates for high performance composite fillers. The mechanical properties of polymers can be greatly enhanced by the addition of MWNTs. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) is an important fiber for textiles as well as a precursor for carbon fibers. MWNT/PAN fibers have potential applications in structural composites, electrical shielding, heat dissipation, etc.
