摘要
本文从词汇的指示意义与内涵意义方面对TEM-8英译汉进行了分析。文章指出词汇的内涵意义对理解原文至关重要。学生不愿仅限于词汇的指示意义，这样有些句子理解不了，而应从内涵意义的角度理解原文，并译成汉语。
Based on the denotation and connotation, this paper analyses the translation from English into Chinese in TEM-8. Connotation is one key to the understanding of the original text. Students should know connotation of words in understanding and translating.
