陆机为太康之英新说

A New View of Lu Ji Named Taikang Elite

陆机为太康之英的评价本出自钟嵘的《诗品》,但是有不少后来的论者不同意此说,或认为潘岳胜于陆机,或认为左思胜于陆机,总之,太康之英的桂冠不该属于陆机。这场学术公案已历千年而至今未决,近年竟有人著文要把太康之英的桂冠冠给左思。笔者认为,其实,不管是从人格魅力、文学创作、文学理论还是对后世文学的影响来看,太康之英的桂冠非陆机莫属,钟嵘对陆机的评价实为千古定评。

Lu Ji is appraised as ＂Taikang elite＂ by Zhong Rong in his Modes of Poetry, but a few people don＇t agree in this opinion since then, who consider that Pan Yue or Zuo Si is superior to Lu Ji, and that the laureate of ＂Taikang elite＂ shouldn＇t belong to Lu Ji. This case is not settled today. Recently, someone says that the laureate of ＂Taikang elite＂ should belong to Zuo Si in his article. In fact, as for personality, or achievement both in creation and theory in the history of Chinese literature, the laureate of ＂Taikang elite＂ still should owe to Lu Ji. The evaluation of Zhong Rong to Lu Ji is an eternal stereotyped term.
