The new way of synthesis triethyl orthoformate in one step was advancedusing chloroform, solid natrium hyelroxide and anhydrous ethanol. The optimal reaction conditions were discussed by test. and. Under these conditions pure was up to 94% by chemical analysis ,the yield of triethyl orthoformate was over 75%.
