This paper develops a point-to-multipoint data acquisition platform based on the MSComm Control of Visual Basic 6.0 and single-chip computers. It also details the programs which can implement serial communication between the personal computer and the single-chip computers. It＂ s a system with excellent transplantation and versatility, and as the results indicate that it can implement data acquisition and transmission steadily and accurately.）
