MNCs' Global Production Networks and the Technological Progress of China's Industries

在全球化时代,国际产业转移和跨国公司全球生产网络得到了进一步的发展。利用跨国公司的直接投资及其全球生产网络来扩大技术扩散和溢出,是发展中国家一种较有效率且低成本的选择。为此,中国企业应积极创造条件进入跨国公司全球生产和经营网络。与此同时,中国企业应增强吸收能力,通过模仿、学习、消化和吸收,加快技术学习和技术创新的步伐,实现产业技术的进步。政府应通过有选择的政策干预来扩大跨国公司的技术转移和技术扩散,促进中国产业的技术进步。

In the context of globalization, global industrial transfer and MNCs＇ global production networks （GPNs） have made further progress. It is an efficient and low-cost choice for developing countries to utilize MNCs＇ direct investment and their GPNs to increase technological proliferation and spillovers. Therefore, Chinese enterprises should actively make themselves qualified to join in MNCs＇ CPNs, enhance their absorptive capabilities, and speed up industrial technological and innovational progress by imitating, learning, digesting and absorbing new technologies. The government should promote MNCs＇ technological transfer and proliferation by means of selective policy-interference.
