ASTC技术通过控制连铸机扇形段的开口度,可以达到减少铸坯内部缺陷的目的。济钢第三炼钢厂厚板坯连铸机采用了ASTC技术,ASTC的校验工作是关键环节,校验精度的高低直接影响铸坯内部质量。

Through control of the roller gaps of the secondary cooling segment in slab caster by ASTC （Automatic Strand Taper Control）technique at The No. 3 Steelmaking Plant, Jigang , internal defects in strands can be reduced. Calibration accuracy is the key point for ASTC technique. It influences the internal quality of slabs directly.
