Study of Road Traffic in River-valley Type of City

河谷型城市由于受到山脉的限制和河流的分割,地域空间狭窄,城市交通问题突出。该文在分析河谷型城市特征的基础上,给出了一种有利于河谷型城市道路交通特性研究的河谷型城市分类方法,进而分析了河谷型城市的道路交通特性,在此基础上对河谷型城市道路等级与功能进行了详细的研究与界定。

Owing to the river-valley type of the city limited by the mountain range and cut by the rivers, the regional space is narrow and the urban traffic problems are serious. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the city in the river-valley type, the article introduces one classifying method of the city in the river-valley type, which is favorable for the study of the road traffic characteristics of the city in the river-valley type, and then analyzes the road traffic characteristics of the city in the river-valley type. On this basis, the article carries out the detail study and definition of the road class and functions of the cities in the river-valley type.
