大学英语后续教学的问题与对策

本文论述了现阶段高校英语后续教学中存在的几个突出问题,阐明了开展英语后续教学的必要性和紧迫性。文中提出在大学的高年级阶段开设英语后续教学课程是符合时代要求、顺应师生意愿的做法,将有助于学生完成由英语综合能力培养阶段到英语综合能力应用阶段的过渡,是提高大学生素质和能力的一项重要举措。在强调其必要性的前提下,本文就如何开设大学英语后续课程提出了若干建议。

The paper discusses some of the prominent problems existing in the junior and senior college English teaching. It also stresses the necessity and urgency of establishing a complete English teaching system in the junior and senior years. It argues that offering English teaching in the last few years in college quenches the thirst of teachers as well as students. It also meets the demands of the times. It can benefit the students in completing the transition from the phase of the training of English comprehensive ability to that of the initial application of these abilities. In addition, this paper puts forward some suggestions as to how to further the English teaching in the last few years in college.
