从东西方大学的历史来看,传统大学本然地具有世界性品格。全球化趋势促进了高等教育国际化,高等教育国际化又反作用于全球化趋势的进一步增强。二者之间的互动促使大学的世界性品格进一步增强,大学的教育内容更具开放性和普遍性,大学教育的主体更具广泛性和多样性,大学主体的品格更具普世性和超越性。

Historically, traditional universities have a global character of the innateness in oriental and occidental countries. The trend of globalization has promoted the internationalization of higher education that also affected the further development of globalization. The interaction between the two further strengthens the global character of university. Consequently, the university education becomes more open and universal, the entity of education get more broad and diverse, making the main character of the university more pervasive and transcendent.
