中国体育报纸在市场化之后,开始由自由竞争走入了垄断竞争,垄断竞争是媒体市场化发展的必然结果,也是体育专业掘纸发展的必由之路。垄断表现在体育专业报纸的各个环节,包括信息资源的垄断、人才的垄断与争夺、报纸发行与广告市场的垄断等,垄断为体育专业报纸带来一定的垄断利润,同时也为体育专业报纸与其他形式的媒体竞争与融合提供了实力保证。
