This paper introduces a design scheme of a serial port communication technology based on embedded gateway. This system adopts a 32 bit AT91RM9200T processor and embedded Linux operating system, communicates with the server through serial port and with other network devices through net protocols, thus realizing the embedded--gateway--based serial port communication.
