Breeding and Utilization of Indica CMS Line Rongfeng A with Early Maturity and Blast Resistance

荣丰A是广东省农科院水稻研究所用优ⅠB/博B的F4代优良株系与优ⅠA测交并连续回交转育而成的早熟抗稻瘟病籼型不育系,2005年10月通过广东省技术鉴定。荣丰A表现株型紧凑,不育性稳定,配合力强,抗稻瘟病,柱头外露率高,异交结实率高,对“九二○”敏感,易于繁制种。利用该不育系初步测配出杂交早稻荣优2号、荣优3号和荣优4号,在区试和试种中均比对照增产。

Rongfeng A, developed by crossing the selected F4 lines of You Ⅰ B/Bo B to You Ⅰ A with the successive backcrossing method, is an early-maturing indica CMS line. It was technically certified in Guangdong Province in October, 2005. It is characteristic of good plant type, stable and complete male sterility, good combining ability, good blast resistance, high stigma exsertion rate, high out-crossing rate, good sensitivity to GA3 and easiness for hybrid seed production. The early-maturing hybrid combinations Rongyou 2, Rongyou 3, Rongyou 4, derived from Rongfeng A, had a good performance in early maturity, high-yielding ability and disease resistance. In the regional trials and experimental productions, these combinations yielded higher than the check hybrids.
