古罗马的家畜饲养技术与畜牧经营思想方法研究——以M.T.瓦罗的《论农业》为例

Study on Breeding Technique and Thought Ways of Keeping Farming in Rome——Taking 《On Farming》 of M.T.Varro as An Example

以古罗马自然哲学家M.T.瓦罗的《论农业》中的“家畜”为主要研究对象,以亚里士多德的《动物志》为参照,阐述了古罗马的家畜饲养技术和畜牧经营方法,包括牲畜的选种与交配、牲畜的防病与治病、畜牧经营中的科学实验思想和牲畜交易中的买卖法,分析了《论农业》思想的局限性和古罗马畜牧经营管理方法的特点及其历史性影响,并将《论农业》与古罗马政治家和农学家M.P.加图的《农业志》中的相关内容进行了比较.

Breeding technique and thought ways of keeping farming in Rome were studied on seed selection of farming and mating method,prevent a disease of domestic animals and the cure methods,the sci ence experiment thoughts of keeping farming,the marketing methods of domestic animals by the ＂domestic animals＂ of M. T. Varro＇ 《On Farming》 as study object and Aristotle＇ 《De Animals Cultura》 as a reference. The localization of 《On Farming》, the characteristics of science methods of keeping farming and its historically affects were analyzed. Some contents of 《On Farming》 were compared with 《De Agricultura》 of Marcus Porcius Cato,a politician and agriculturalist in Rome.
