摘要
通过采用问卷形式,运用社会科学统计软件对工科学生的英语听力理解学习策略的调查数据进行处理,以便认识和改进学生的听力理解学习策略.结果显示:策略与学习成绩呈正相关,且达到了显著水平,表明学习策略有助于提高听力理解能力和成绩;快班与普通班在元认知、认知策略存在显著差异,前者更善于使用预先准备、自我评价、推理、通过上下文猜测内容、词义以及联想记忆和简记策略.通过提高策略意识,特别是元认知策略,帮助普通生在关键的第一年形成适合自己的富有成效的学习策略体系是非常必要的.同时注意到外语学习者的不同层次和已有的学习策略,制定个性化的策略训练方案以期提高其学习意识和自主性,并且最终能够对外语能力的发展产生持续的影响.
This paper investigates some strategies distinguishing top students from underachievers of non-English major students in listening comprehension, which discovers the significant difference of metacongnitive and cognitive strategies in the establishment of profound comprehension based on the processing of SPSS 11.50. However, the purpose is how to sufficiently apply the empirical findings to the underachievers to improve their listening comprehension at crucial period by integrating the above strategies such as planning, monitoring, inferencing and elaboration to form a life-long language competence.
